Afterwards, he spent three years with Aviva and the Willis Group, gaining a Chartered Insurance Institute qualification, before studying Business Law at City, University of London. Graduating to trade derivative options at Fraser McGowan with Richard Lane, he then spent fifteen years in financial markets. During this time, he built an inter-dealer broker business in derivative futures and options markets at Schneider Trading Associates.
He went into private equity and venture capital interests in 2011, including work with MicroPower Global, spending five years in a senior consulting role with the company and as COO.
